The Centerville-Washington Foundation is saddened to learn of the passing of Doris Ponitz. Doris was a tireless volunteer for the Dayton community. She devoted her life to many area nonprofits, eventually leading numerous boards and organizations dedicated to bettering girls’ and women’s lives, furthering education and enriching the community culturally. Mrs. Ponitz, along with her husband David, was a past recipient of the Centerville-Washington Foundation’s Founders Award.
